BOSTON, US: VideaHealth, a dental artificial intelligence (AI) company, and vVARDIS, a Swiss manufacturer of oral care and tooth whitening products, have recently announced their partnership. Together, the companies will enhance VideaAI, VideaHealth’s dental AI platform, to help dental clinicians provide better preventive care. Their goal is to improve the detection of early carious lesions, which can then be treated with Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus, a non-invasive technology for enamel remineralisation. Additionally, both companies are working with Henry Schein to expedite the adoption of AI and the promotion of preventive care in dentistry.

“We are excited to collaborate with VideaHealth,” said Drs Haleh and Golnar Abivardi, founders and CEOs of vVARDIS, in a press release. They added: “Our innovative technology has shown notable efficacy in treating incipient lesions, preserving teeth and promoting long-term dental health. VideaHealth has achieved impressive clinical results and is the dental AI partner of choice for industry leaders such as Heartland Dental, 42 North and many others. This collaboration further strengthens vVARDIS’s mission to provide solutions that deliver a positive impact on dental practices and patients’ overall health and experience.”

According to VideaHealth, over 30,000 clinicians use the company’s technology daily. Similarly, the company stated that vVARDIS technology has been peer-reviewed in more than 230 publications and is the product of choice for thousands of practices: in the last four months, over 100,000 teeth have been treated in the US with Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus.

“Detection is critically important, as we know first-hand, and so is early treatment. We are fortunate to have such a unique partnership with Henry Schein, the world’s largest provider of healthcare solutions to office-based dental and medical practitioners. Adding vVARDIS, who is also uniquely partnered with Henry Schein, to our partner ecosystem is very exciting,” stated Florian Hillen, CEO of VideaHealth.

“Thousands of dental practices and those supported by the most innovative dental service organisations in the country use Henry Schein One’s Dentrix Detect AI and VideaAI every day. We are pleased to be working side by side with vVARDIS to bring improved preventative care to practices across the country and have a transformative impact on patient care right now. Together, our technologies will enable dental clinicians to deliver care at a level that was just not possible in the past, to millions of patients across the country,” he concluded.
