LAS VEGAS, US: DS World Las Vegas opened today at the MGM Grand Conference Center, bringing together more than 2,000 dental professionals from 16 countries for three days of education, innovation and networking. According to Dentsply Sirona, this year’s event places a stronger emphasis on clinical education and practical learning.
The 2026 programme features more than 60 hands-on courses—more than three times as many as at last year’s event—as well as enhanced clinical content on the main stage. In addition, interactive small-group activities in the Experience Zones offer personalised training and allow participants to engage with experts on technologies, workflows and clinical techniques. A dedicated laboratory track for laboratory teams and certified dental technicians combines hands-on training and lectures on digital dentures, implant restorations, aesthetic zirconia finishing and digital collaboration between laboratories and clinicians. Across the educational offering, participants can earn up to 15 continuing education credits.
Beyond the educational programme, attendees can explore products, technologies and solutions in the exhibition hall. In keeping with the increased emphasis on education, this year’s DS World will not feature dedicated headline entertainment acts. Instead, the evening programme will provide further opportunities for networking, interactive experiences and engagement with the dental community.
DS World Las Vegas was first held in September 2017, attracting more than 7,500 attendees from 50 countries. Since then, DS World has expanded internationally and events have been held in a number of countries. In May, Dentsply Sirona announced that DS World Las Vegas would transition to a biennial format. The next edition is scheduled for 2028. More information can be found at www.dentsplysirona.com.
