LAS VEGAS, US: DS World Las Vegas 2024 is proving to be an excellent dental experience and continues through Saturday at Caesars Forum. This conference comprises three dynamic days filled with world-class education, entertainment and engagement, plus excellent networking opportunities.

There is something for everyone among the expert presentations on an extensive range of topics, including prosthodontics, the digital workflow, 3D printing, imaging technology, aesthetics and restoration. This year also marked the introduction of DS World Fest, an outdoor experience for DS World to enjoy the best live music, dance, while sampling a wide range of cuisine at the available food trucks with a classic festival atmosphere. Held under the inspiring motto “Unleash Your Future”, the event opened with a powerful message from Simon Campion, president and CEO of Dentsply Sirona. In his welcome speech, Campion emphasised the importance of “connected dentistry”, communication and education in advancing the dental profession. Highlighting the role of innovations, he also introduced Dentsply Sirona’s newest breakthrough, the Primescan 2, a cutting-edge digital impression system.

The official US launch of the Primescan 2 was led by Max Milz, group vice president of connected technology solutions and Dr Sameer Puri, chief clinical officer at Imagen Dental Partners, captivating the audience with its ground-breaking features that promise to revolutionise dental practice workflows by giving possibility to scan patience anywhere and anytime.

The participation of technological visionary Dr Vin Gupta will also be a highlight of the congress. In his keynote address, he will be providing valuable insights on the future of healthcare based on his background as chief medical officer of Amazon Pharmacy and his deep knowledge of health policy, clinical practice and healthcare technology.
