LAS VEGAS, US: From 15 to 17 September, Dentsply Sirona World 2022 will be held at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the company’s digital workflows and connected dental solutions, and Dentsply Sirona will also be unveiling new solutions and products onstage. Last-minute registration for the event is still possible.

“Digital technology has transformed dentistry, enabling greater practice efficiency, collaboration with labs and specialists, single-visit treatments, highly accurate and reliable results, and improved patient outcomes,” said Dr Cord Staehler, chief technology officer at Dentsply Sirona. “Digital dentistry is a reality today and a centerpiece of the future. In Las Vegas, you will be one of the very first to experience our latest DS digital innovations live,” he continued.

Among the innovations that will be presented are DS Core, an open platform built on Google Cloud that integrates the company’s whole digital dentistry workflow, and the Primeprint 3D-printing system.

The programme for the three-day event features a diverse line-up of speakers, who will be presenting over 100 market-leading clinical education sessions across a variety of educational tracks, covering digital workflows, expanded clinical procedures, practice management and staff training.

For years, Dentsply Sirona has been committed to promoting women in dentistry, supporting their professional development, advocating for parity and helping give them a strong voice in the dental community. In line with this, half of the main stage speakers are women.

For most sessions, visitors will be able to earn 1.0–1.5 hours of continuing education.

At this year’s Dentsply Sirona World, Dentsply Sirona is hosting its first sustainability breakout session, in partnership with Dr Steven Mulligan, founding member of the FDI World Dental Federation Sustainability in Dentistry Task Team, and Dr Rainer Seemann, vice president of global clinical research and scientific support at Dentsply Sirona. Dr Mulligan will discuss what sustainability means for dentistry and the actions practice teams can take to become a more sustainable business.

Registration for the event is still open at www.dentsplysirona.com.
