LEIPZIG, Germany: In a webinar presented by the Dental Tribune Study Club to be broadcast on May 29, an expert in restorative dentistry will introduce the newest generation of composites from international dental manufacturer COLTENE and explain how these facilitate chairside veneering with composite enamel shells.
COMPONEER is a polymerised, prefabricated composite enamel shell of different sizes that combines the advantages of both direct composite restoration and laboratory-fabricated veneers. It offers an anatomical shape and simplifies direct veneering of one or more anterior teeth. BRILLIANT EverGlow is the latest generation of composite materials for anterior and posterior teeth. It addresses the shortcomings of common composite materials and leads to highly aesthetic long-term results, especially if used with COMPONEER.
The online course will teach the basics of adhesive application techniques in the anterior tooth region using the COMPONEER veneering technique in combination with BRILLIANT EverGlow. It will demonstrate easy clinical handling using the most suitable materials along with the appropriate protocol, and provide tips on achieving durable results.
In the approximately 1-hour webinar, speaker Dr Mario Besek from Zürich, Switzerland, an expert in aesthetic dentistry, periodontology, cariology and adhesive restorative dentistry, will demonstrate a complete anterior tooth restoration while imparting basic scientific knowledge to help achieve predictable results. The course will cover the working steps, from diagnostics to polishing, and will explain the ideal use of COMPONEER with BRILLIANT EverGlow.
The webinar, titled “COMPONEER and the new composite BRILLIANT EverGlow: The dreamteam in front teeth restorations!”, is free of charge and will be broadcast online on Friday, 29 May, at 7 a.m. EST. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic discussed.
Registration for the webinar is now open on the DT Study Club website, www.dtstudyclub.com.
