KOMET UK Cutters are designed to be used on ceramics before glaze firing and on composite veneers, making them ideal instruments for laboratory technicians. UK Cutters are specially designed to work on tooth-colored materials instead of using either diamond or silicon carbide abrasives. These cutters provide superior surface quality and high material reduction for any user.
In addition to being used on ceramics and composite veneers themselves, UK Cutters can also be used on transitions between veneer materials and metal frames. Due to the UK Cutters’ double toothing, these instruments produce a surface that meets the highest demands of any laboratory technician. UK Cutters are made from a fine, hot-isostatically pressed tungsten carbide and provides a sharp toothing with unmarred blades and a longer service life.
With its distinct white ring, golden shank and “UK” laser etching, UK Cutters are clearly distinguishable from other laboratory cutters and available in five different shapes and sizes.
