NEW YORK/LEIPZIG, Germany: Dental instrument manufacturer Hu-Friedy has appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Ken Serota as new President. He is succeeding Ron Saslow, who will replace his father Richard Saslow as Chairman of the Board, the company said. Mr Saslow, who worked as president since 1999, will also remain Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Serota, a lawyer and certified public accountant, has been working for Hu-Friedy since 2004. Prior to that he held several executive positions in businesses in the Greater Chicago Area. He announced that under his presidentship, the company will focus on developing products, services and programmes that help dental professionals perform at their best.
Hu-Friedy's catalogue includes instruments for different kinds of dental procedures as well as protective products and gear.
