CHICAGO, Ill., USA: Hu-Friedy, a manufacturer of dental instruments and products, officially opened its new dental showroom at its West Campus facility in Des Plaines, Ill. Des Plaines Mayor Matthew Bogusz and other community officials joined Ken Serota, Hu-Friedy president, for the grand opening event. The showroom is located minutes from O’Hare airport.

According to Hu-Friedy, the showroom is the ideal setting for dental professionals, clinical educators and distributor partners to experience the company’s advanced technology in a hands-on practice setting.

Visitors will experience firsthand how Hu-Friedy’s quality instrumentation, small equipment, infection prevention products and Instrument Management System can be incorporated into their practices, the company said.

“At Hu-Friedy, everything we do centers around helping dental professionals perform at their best, and the showroom is no exception. We now have a dedicated, extraordinary space where we can offer customers the opportunity to experience all of Hu-Friedy’s products,” said Ken Serota, Hu-Friedy president. “Our customers have a wide range of clinical needs and preferences and the showroom makes it easy to see the possibilities, discover what works best for them, and learn how to incorporate our quality instruments and equipment into their practice.”

Featuring three dental operatories, a sterilization center, product displays and conference area, the showroom offers access to Hu-Friedy’s full line of products, ranging from Periodontal and Power Scaling to Surgical and Infection Prevention. The Instrument Management System, which Hu-Friedy pioneered nearly 20 years ago to provide safe and efficient instrument processing, is optimally demonstrated in the showroom.

Practitioners visiting the facility can meet with Hu-Friedy‘s regional account representative or clinical education manager for individual consultations. Building on its strong educational focus, Hu-Friedy plans to collaborate with its network of 600 global Key Opinion Leaders to offer Continuing Education seminars, training courses and exclusive events throughout the year in the showroom.
