DETROIT, Mich., USA: There is no shortage of things to do here at the AGD Annual Session & Exhibits, be it attending educational programs, networking or doing your part for charity. Topics up for discussion in the continuing education sessions include oral surgery (“Everything You Wanted to Know About Oral Surgery, But Were Afraid to Ask”) and sleep apnea (“The Nuts and Bolts of Treating a Snoring and Sleep Apnea Patient: A Hands-On Workshop”).

Other topics include dental marketing (“Effective Ways to Attract and Keep Your New and Existing Patients”) and infectious diseases (“What You Don’t See Can Hurt You! The Truth Hiding in Your Treatment Rooms”).

If you are more here for networking, make sure to attend the networking reception from 5 to 6 p.m. in Exhibit Hall C. You’ll find a complimentary beverage ticket in your registration packet.

For those of you who have a few extra funds, why not make a bid at the annual AGD Foundation Silent Auction Fundraiser? Funds raised go toward outreach programs that make dental care available to underserved populations, children, the elderly, and those with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Auction items include C.E. courses, new dental equipment and instruments, dental publications, jewelry, artwork, sporting event tickets, luxury gift baskets, gift certificates and vacation getaways.

Find the auction outside of Oakland Hall. It continues through Saturday.
