ORLANDO, Fla., USA: Every year at the AAO Annual Session, orthodontists from around the world gather to further their knowledge and expertise. Here in Orlando this weekend, topics run the gamut, from advances in imaging to clear aligner technology and even accelerated treatment. Want to learn more about recent advances in temporary anchorage devices? Or brush up on your knowledge of temporomandibular function? If so, you’re in the right place.

Both doctors and orthodontic staff can benefit from the many scientific lectures, hands-on workshops, oral research presentations and software users classes.

“We believe that the breadth and depth of the continuing education programs at this meeting will provide and unmatched learning experience for every attendee,” said AAO President Dr. Morris N. Poole, in a welcome letter to attendees on behalf of the AAO Board of Trustees and Planning Committee.

In addition to the many sessions being presented in the lecture halls, there is also a lot to learn on the exhibit hall floor, where many companies are offering presentations right in their booths.

Educational sessions began Friday and continue through Tuesday.
