NEW ORLEANS, La., USA: This year’s AAO annual session offered a bevy of educational sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to gather knowledge and techniques to take back to their practices. From seminars to hands-on workshops, educational offerings could be found all over the place, including right on the exhibit hall floor.

Here is a sampling of the topics:

At the 3M Unitek booth, Dr. Lisa Alvetro spoke on the “Forsus Corrector: More than a Non-Compliance Device” and Dr. Adam Schulhof explained the art of “Building Your Practice With Esthetic Solutions.”
Dr. David Paquette spoke on “Orthodontic Solutions for Obstructive Sleep Apnea” at the Henry Schein Orthodontics booth.
Dr. Jonathan Nicozisis explained “ClinCheck Pro with 3-D Controls, the Ultimate Features in Treatment Planning” at the Align Invisalign booth.
Dr. Donna Galante spoke on “Invisalign Teen: Why Not Now?” at the Align Invisalign booth.
Dr. R.G. “Wick” Alexander explored “Long-term Stability... Can It Stand the Test of Time?”
Ellen M. Grady helped attendees learn the “Top 10 Financial Mistakes” and how to avoid them.
Dr. Earl S. Johnson offered “Earl’s Pearls’ and a Few 49er Nuggets,” clinical ideas to be used every day.
Dr. William M. Wilcko and Dr. Donald Ferguson offered tips and techniques on the “Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics™ Procedure.”
Dr. Flavio Uribe spoke on “The Evidence in Localized Bone Injury to Accelerate Tooth Movement.”
Dr. Scott Frey offered “Soft-Tissue Orthodontics — BOTOX and Beyond” at the Henry Schein Orthodontics booth.
