Here is a short list of some of the many highlights:

  • A composite restorative. At Ivoclar Vivadent, attendees could learn about Tetric EvoCeram, a light-curing, universal nano-hybrid composite for top quality standard restorations in the anterior and posterior region. It offers a balanced combination of properties and is now available in new packaging.
  • An injectable hybrid. Reps at the Shofu booth were busy telling dentists about BEAUTIFUL Flow Plus, which is being heralded as the next step in the evolution of restorative materials based on its convenient flowable delivery system and physical properties and functionality.
  • Brushing stations. At the Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health system booth’s brushing station, attendees received a sample pack to take home.
  • A new armament for root canal therapy. For those who perform endodontic therapy, the new SAF Endo System from EndoVations can make things easier and more efficient by allowing for simultaneous canal cleaning, shaping and irrigation as it constantly adjusts to the natural anatomy. The nickel-titanium technology is billed as “virtually unbreakable” and offers similar cost per procedure as traditional rotary NiTi systems. It was one of many offerings available at the Henry Schein booth.
  • An intra-oral sensor. The new DEXIS Platinum intra-oral sensor offers direct USB connection, new image capture technology and enhanced ergonomic design. In addition, it has an enhanced quantum efficiency that makes it receptive and efficient when capturing X-ray images across a range of radiation settings. This delivers the ability to reduce the number of retakes due to under- and over-exposure.
