ATLANTA, Ga., USA: Education is an annual tradition at the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting. The latest and most comprehensive continuing education is available to all attendees. Whether you are a dentist, a dental hygienist, a dental assistant, a laboratory technician or a member of a dental practice staff, there is something here to benefit you.

Among the many educational offerings is the Total Health Pavilion, located in the exhibit hall, where you can “connect the dots” between oral health and total health. Presentations are held throughout the day, and you can earn free C.E. credit.

Also at the pavilion, you can take a carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) test, to see if you are at risk of cardiovascular disease.
