Make plans to attend the 2022 Florida Dental Convention (FDC2022), June 23-25 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. This year’s theme, “Dentistry & Systemic Health: Mouth, Mind and Body Connection,” will feature something for everyone on the dental team including more than 130 courses, more than 300 dental vendors and endless networking and teambuilding opportunities, according to meeting organizers.

A cornerstone of the FDC2022 program is The Pankey Institute’s “Pankey Essentials 1 Workshop.” This three-day workshop will be offered Thursday, June 23, to Saturday, June 25, for as low as $4,999 (a savings of $800). In this three-day workshop taught by Dr. Lee Ann Brady and Pankey Institute faculty, attendees will learn the five key areas of exam, diagnosis and treatment planning system: aesthetics, occlusion, restorative, biology and the patient. Dental assistants also have the opportunity to dive deep into the Pankey Institute learning philosophy with courses presented by Pankey Institute faculty, Dr. Edwin McDonald. While the dentist is taking the Essentials 1 course, dental assistants can attend courses on mastering clinical skills in the dental office in lecture and hands-on workshops with McDonald.
