Dental News - Pentron selects Safco to distribute its restorative materials

WALLINGFORD, Conn. & BUFFALO GROVE, Ill., USA: One of the largest distributors of dental supplies in the U.S. has expanded its catalogue with a number of market-proven restorative options. Since February, Safco Dental Supply has been offering its customers Pentron Clinical products, including post systems and composites.

A subsidiary of Sybron Dental Specialities, Pentron Clinical has established itself as a worldwide leader of fiber-post and nano-hybrid composite technologies since 1967. Its fiber-reinforced core material Build-It FR has received several awards, including Dental Advisor and Reality’s Choice awards.

Pentron’s vice president of sales, John L. Scott, welcomed the new partnership, adding that he expects Safco to work as a key dealer for Pentron’s collective businesses. He said that the company has a strong business model and provides dental clinicians in North America with high-quality, value-priced products.

Safco claims to carry more than 14,000 products from 200 vendors currently.
