ADA calls upon dentists to postpone elective procedures

CHICAGO, Ill., USA: On March 17, the American Dental Association issued a recommendation to member dentists that dental practices across the U.S. postpone elective procedures for the next three weeks to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The American Association of Orthodontists has announced the cancellation of its Annual Session, scheduled to take place later this spring in Atlanta. “Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we have made the difficult but important decision to cancel the AAO Annual Session, originally scheduled for May 1-4, 2020,” the AAO announced today on its website.
