SACRAMENTO, Calif., USA: The California Dental Association recently announced CDA Practice Advising — in-office practice consulting designed to give members the guidance they need to reach individual practice goals. “No two practices are alike, and with the new practice advising program, our consultants listen to the issues at hand to develop a program customized to fit specific practice needs,” said CDA President James Stephens, DDS.

Available only to CDA members, the new program offers consulting from a trusted source — CDA — without contracts. Areas of expertise include leadership, patient scheduling, treatment planning, financial policy, case presentation, overhead control, marketing and hygiene department management.

Each program begins with the creation of a vision statement, practice goals and a comprehensive action plan, followed by personalized training for the dentist and staff. At every stage, a practice advisor will be there to provide coaching and guidance until the goal is reached.

CDA is the non-profit organization representing organized dentistry in California. Founded in 1870, CDA is committed to the success of our members in service to their patients and the public. CDA also contributes to the oral health of Californians through various comprehensive programs and advocacy. CDA’s membership consists of more than 25,000 dentists, making it the largest constituent of the American Dental Association.
