SAN JOSE, CA, USA: Suni Medical Imaging, a pioneer in the manufacture of digital radiography products for dental professionals, has announced an agreement with Dentists Management Corp. (DMC), a subsidiary of The ODS Companies, Portland, OR, whereby DMC will sell and support Suni Digital Imaging products to dental professionals throughout the Pacific Northwest.

“For over 50 years now, The ODS Companies has provided a wide range of medical, dental, pharmacy and vision insurance and related services to Northwest consumers. DMC focuses on supporting Northwest dentists by providing practice management software and related services for the digital practice and superior, high-touch customer service,” said Paul Tucker, CEO of Suni Medical Imaging.

“With its outstanding software, a very strong tradition of service and its reach into the Pacific Northwest area of the U.S., we are very proud to add Suni’s portfolio of innovative digital products to DMC’s catalogue,” Tucker said.

Among the products that DMC will represent are Suni’s lines of intraoral sensors — Dr SuniPlus and SuniRay — as well as Suni’s 3-in-1 extraoral imaging, system popularly known as the Suni3D, which provides superior quality panoramic, cephalometric and 3D cone beam imaging.

“We are very excited about putting together a business relationship with Suni and look forward to a long and productive relationship,” said Dave Novitsky, national sales manager for DMC. “DMC has been looking to expand its digital offerings, specifically in the 3D Cone Beam arena, to better meet the expanding digital needs of the Northwest dental community. Suni has the reputation, the service, and the products that will meet the needs of our Northwest market.”

DMC has been a trailblazer in providing high-quality dental practice management software since 1982. In addition to the Daisy Practice Management Software, DMC offers a suite of supporting services, like its automated redundant backup system to safeguard critical digital data. Additionally, DMC provides a single source solution for the transition to a digital practice including space planning, computer hardware, digital training, etc.

Suni Medical Imaging is the only Silicon Valley manufacturer of Digital Radiography Systems in the United States. Headquartered in San Jose, Suni manufactures and delivers high-quality digital radiography sensors under the Dr Suni Plus and SuniRay brands. The company also offers the SuniCam II intraoral camera line as well as the Suni 3D Digital Panoramic, Cephalometric, and Cone Beam 3D Systems.
