MELVILLE, N.Y., USA: Ron Appel, vice president and general manager, U.S. Repair Business Group and Global Handpiece and Small Equipment Solutions Group, Henry Schein Inc., and Jeremy Ross, director of business operations & development, Henry Schein Inc., recently participated in a panel discussion hosted by UPS at its Women’s Business Resource Group (Women’s BRG) Meeting.

The “Customer View Point” panel addressed overall customer experience and how to change the conversation among UPS customers from price to value.

“We are thrilled to have been invited to address the Women’s BRG of UPS and share feedback among attendees from various market sectors who share a common goal of providing an optimal customer experience that impacts business success,” Appel said. “At Henry Schein, we are always looking for ways to reinvent our business model and improve the customer experience, and appreciate the platform UPS gave us to share some of the company’s successes as a result of our ongoing evolution and transformation in health care.”

Attended by nearly 60 UPS-ers at all levels from administrative to senior management and from all departments, including finance, business development and operations, the event served to help UPS-ers better understand how they can improve the customer experience, as well as change the perception of UPS as a valued partner among customers, and not just a transportation carrier.
