CHARLOTTE, N.C., USA: National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy (NCOHF) recently announced the recipients of four America’s ToothFairy grants. The America’s ToothFairy Grant recipients will reach a combined total of over 30,000 at-risk children with vital oral health services this year. Each recipient received a $10,000 grant to fund pediatric programs delivering comprehensive educational, preventive and treatment services for at-risk children.

The grant recipients are:

  • University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in Lexington, Ky.
  • Sonrisas Community Dental Center in Half Moon Bay, Calif.
  • Just Kids Dental in Two Harbors, Minn.
  • Gateway to Oral Health Foundation in Olivette, Mo.

“The recipients of the NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy are true champions for children’s oral health. We are proud to support them and all of our NCOHF Affiliate partners in their endeavor to eliminate pediatric dental disease in their communities,” said Fern Ingber, NCOHF president and CEO. “We are so grateful for the generosity of our individual and corporate partners that makes these grants possible. With their continued support, the NCOHF Affiliate Network can help protect the smiles of our most vulnerable children.”

National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, known as America’s ToothFairy, was formed in 2006 in an aggressive response to eliminate pediatric dental disease by providing community programs with the comprehensive resources to deliver vital educational, preventive, and treatment services to children of the most vulnerable populations. Supporting the delivery of oral health education and care beginning at the prenatal level, NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy has reached millions of children through its national non-profit clinical network and volunteer professional and student community service programs.
