DAYTONA, Fla, USA: Crest Oral-B recently launched a partnership with dental hygienists at CareerFusion, a dental professional career retreat, to gain a better understanding of the current needs and preferences of dental professionals nationwide. During the meeting, Crest Oral-B celebrated the anniversary of 100 years of dental hygiene by thanking CareerFusion hygienists.

In addition, Crest Oral-B revealed plans to show its gratitude throughout the year at dental conventions, in trade publications and through promotions on the Crest Oral-B Dental Professional Facebook page.

“At Crest and Oral-B, we know how extremely valuable hygienists are to the oral health field, and we’re thrilled to celebrate their dedication and hard work,” said Wendy Bebey, hygienist relations manager, Procter and Gamble. “As a platform for dental professionals to take their careers to the next level, CareerFusion was the ideal setting to acknowledge the great work hygienists do each and every day and to thank them for all that they do to improve the oral health cause.”

CareerFusion was hosted Jan. 5–9 in Daytona, Fla. It is a professional retreat and learning continuum for healthcare professionals seeking growth and development to enhance their career.

Throughout the conference, Crest Oral-B hosted several round-table and one-on-one discussions with the attending dental professionals to better understand their needs, how the brands could support them and what tools enable them to succeed in their profession. Furthermore, these attendees received several products to try in the weeks leading up to the event, as well as a preview of a new power technology.

During the meeting, Lori Bernardo, RDH of Nazareth, Pa., said, “As a first time attendee at CareerFusion, I had the experience of learning about relevant products from various companies that can help me as well as my patients.
