CDA meeting offers plenty of education

ANAHEIM, USA: Truth be told, it was a little quiet in the exhibit hall on Saturday, 15 May, at the CDA Presents the Art & Science of Dentistry meeting, until about noon. The reason? Well, it was likely due to the broad array of corporate forums, lectures, workshops and special events that started at 8 a.m.

The early birds who caught the worm attended the Invisalign Clear Essentials II corporate forum from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Six of the day’s 16 other workshops were sold out, including the first, The Wonderful World of Lasers in Dentistry. Two other sold-out workshops were Implants and Removable Prosthodontics and Basic Training: Equipment Care and Repair.

The day’s lectures ranged in topics from financial planning to drug prescribing to how to restore worn dentition.

The meeting, held by the California Dental Association, ran 13 to 16 May.
