CHICAGO, Ill., USA: The Chicago Dental Society’s 2017 Midwinter Meeting offered plenty of educational opportunities, not only in the lecture halls but on the exhibit hall floor as well. In fact, it could even be said that the ‘E’ in C.E. stands for “exhibits.” Meeting attendees could add an hour of C.E. credit to their total simply by touring the exhibit hall.

Education was attainable in the exhibit hall in many ways. Many companies —including Kerr, BIOLASE, Isolite and many others — offered educational presentations right in their booths.

Also at Chicago Midwinter, a number of all-day tracks were offered, including one focusing on “A Day in the Life of the Female Dental Professional.” Even though all dentists are viewed equally in the study and practice of dentistry, career expectations and goals can be different for men and women. With that in mind, this agenda featured four speakers who examined how some of those differences can affect your professional life.
