NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., USA: Several thousand endodontists are gathered at the Gaylord National resort, located just outside Washington, D.C., for the AAE Annual Session. From lectures to hands-on workshops to formal and informal social gatherings, the meeting offers a wide range of opportunities for attendees.
James Bradley, author of the New York Times bestseller “Flags of Our Fathers,” gave a keynote address on Wednesday morning during the President’s Breakfast. Bradley, whose book follows the lives of the five U.S. Marines and one U.S. Navy Corpsman who would eventually be made famous by Joe Rosenthal’s lauded photograph of the flag raising at Iwo Jima, offered an inspirational message to those in attendance: Nothing is impossible.
The exhibit hall features products and services from several hundred companies, as well as various educational opportunities.
A “Corporate Workshop and Lecture” series is being presented on the show floor. Some of the highlights include “Surgical Applications of Bioceramics,” sponsored by Brasseler USA, presented by Dr. Ali Nasseh; “The Rationale and Use of Electronic Apex Locators,” sponsored by J. Morita USA, presented by Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan; and “Sound Science: Multisonic Ultracleaning,” sponsored by Sonendo, presented by Dr. Mehrzad Khakpour.
