8th annual Root Canal Awareness Week begins March 30

NEW YORK, N.Y., USA: The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) will hold its eighth annual Root Canal Awareness Week March 30 to April 5. It’s a national effort to raise awareness of endodontists, so that patients and general dentists know to contact a specialist when a root canal is needed.

According to the AAE, which advocates for the valuable role endodontists play on the dental team, the special week is an excellent time to explain the important role specialists play in dental health, and to teach the public that root canals should not be feared.

“Root canal specialists who bring high-quality care, compassion and comfort to patients deserve recognition for their service and commitment,” the AAE says.
