HurriPAK Periodontal Anesthetic Starter Kit

HurriPAK™ is an alternative to local anesthetic injections prior to periodontal scaling and root planing or full-mouth debridement. This needle-free anesthetic kit may also be applied to the gingival margin to prevent the discomfort some patients experience during prophylaxis.

Whether scaling an entire quadrant or an isolated area, HurriPAK allows dispensing of only the amount of liquid needed. Disposable syringes may be filled with up to 3 mL of liquid to use for full-mouth scaling.

The kit includes angled plastic irrigation tips to enable effective sub-gingival application of HurriCaine® Topical Anesthetic liquid into periodontal pockets. HurriCaine contains 20 percent benzocaine for a fast onset of 20 seconds, and anesthesia lasts up to 15 minutes.

Each starter kit contains 1 fl. oz. jar of wild cherry-flavored HurriCaine liquid, 1 fl. oz. jar of piña colada-flavored HurriCaine liquid, 12 disposable periodontal irrigation tips and syringes and two luer-lock dispensing caps.
