Dr Vincenzo D’Antò

Dr Vincenzo D’Antò holds a degree in dentistry and dental prosthetics and specialised in orthodontics and paediatric dentistry. He has completed master’s degrees in temporomandibular disorder, in lingual orthodontics and in sleep dentistry, as well as a PhD in materials and structural engineering and a PhD in oral sciences.
In 2017, he obtained the Italian eligibility required to compete for full professorships in oral sciences, and he is currently an associate professor in orthodontics at the University of Naples Federico II in Italy. He has received numerous honours, including the CED-IADR Robert Frank Award, second place in the IADR Hatton Award, the W.J.B. Houston Research Award and the Tiziano Baccetti Award. Dr D’Antò has authored more than 130 scientific papers and delivered lectures in over 40 countries. He serves as an associate editor for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Progress in Orthodontics and Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research.
