C-Root NiTi rotary files are designed with super flexibility, excellent cutting efficiency and smaller taper, which means that they can maintain the original canal pathway with minimal canal thickness loss.
This feature allows for ease of single cone obturation, and also results in less time spent on root canal shaping because of the cutting efficiency of the files. Moreover, C-Root NiTi files enable a short learning curve and are user-friendly, making them suitable for general practitioners and endodontists worldwide.
C-Root files are available in 25/04 and 25/06 sets, in different lengths of 21 mm and 25 mm. Among them, the 25/04 25 mm set (including 15/08, 15/03, 20/04, and 25/04 files) is highly favored by American dentists and has been praised as "Amazing".
The files can be used at up to 500 rpm because of their flexibility and high torsional strength, which is up to three times the industry requirements. This feature results in long-term outcomes with less root fracture when used in conjunction with C-Root injectable Bioceramic canal sealer
C-Root injectable Bioceramic canal sealer is a premixed, ready-to-use, injectable, water-solidified strontium silicate bioactive ceramic sealer paste (patented), which is one of the most popular sealers used in China. It has been used successfully for more than two years in China and worldwide, and has numerous successful cases to show for it.
Root canals obturated with C-Root injectable Bioceramic canal sealer rarely present post-obturation discomfort, possibly because of the inhibitory effect of strontium on inflammation and its regulation of nerve-ending triggering. Moreover, many cases with apical lesions achieve quick lesion healing within three to six months, which is hardly seen in cases obturated by other materials.
This exemplifies Strontium Silicate's role in promoting bone formation by accelerating osteoblastic bone accumulation and suppressing osteoclastic activities. The unique features of the C-Root injectable Bioceramic canal sealer paste, including fast apical bone lesion healing and minimal/no post-obturation discomfort, make it a great option for both dentists and patients.
C-Root NiTi files and C-Root injectable Bioceramic canal sealer have been used successfully in a number of case series as follows:
- Apical Lesion case and lesion healing at eight months.
- Lateral canal obturation and lesion healing at six months.
- Severely curved canal obturation, healing at two months.
In addition, laboratory studies have confirmed the excellent performance of C-Root Injectable Bioceramic canal sealer.
C-Root SP, performance conformed to ISO 6876 , biocompatibility testing conformed to ISO 10993-1:2018, FDA guidance, tests included cytotoxicity, irritation, sensitization, acute systemic toxicity, subchronic systemic toxicity test, Ames test and TK test, implantation effect , endodontic usage test, tested by Dental Medical Devices Testing Center of Peking University School of Stomatology.
Endodontic usage test, at the time period or 90 days, among the 10 test specimens (C-Root SP), 10 specimens (C-Root SP) showed no inflammation. Among five test specimens (calcium silicate), one specimen of periapical tissue showed moderate inflammation. Please see detail in crootmed.com and crootdental.com.
