Is it a beautiful beach, world-class speakers for great continuing education, good fellowship? Or perhaps it is fishing, a round of golf, or a relaxing time at the spa. Or maybe even it is the opportunity to renew friendships and make new ones. Whatever your choices, Smiles in the Sun 2020, to be held be held April 30 to May 3 in Long Boat Key, Fla., has the perfect combination.

The Resort at Longboat Boat Key Club is a five-star property that will allow you to learn, play and relax in an idyllic location. Seminars in the Sun 2020 has put together another amazing five-star program of internationally known speakers to bring you the most current information in several disciplines for 20 hours of CERP/PACE approved credit.

Dr. Joseph Massad, the “king” of full arch prosthesis, will present: “The Neuromuscular Prosthesis: A Major Shift in Prosthetic Design.” His program is entertaining and informative and packed with useful tips that you take back to the office and benefit your patients. If Dr. Joe is the “king,” then Ms. Debra Englelhardt-Nash is the “queen” of staff and team relationships. She will present “Up Your Service – Creating Patient Experiences That Increase Your Profits.” Delightful and energetic is the best way to describe this program that will have you and your team members totally engaged in how to make it better in your office.

In addition, Dr. Howard S. Glazer, author of the popular “I Have It…You Need It!” column in Dental Economics and an international author and clinician, will return to the meeting to discuss the ever-changing world of materials and products to provide you with a better understanding of what is in the market place to provide the best possible care. His knowledge of the “latest and greatest” materials will guide you thru the “jungle” of the big catalogs to better understand what is faster, easier and better for your patients and for you.

Dr. Roy Sonkin, a well known and respected forensic odontologist with over 44 years of experience, will present “Forensic Odontology: CSI It Ain’t!” This will be a fascinating look at the importance of forensic odontologists and the role they have played in many headline-grabbing incidents.

All these presentations and the lunch ’n’ learn hands-on programs are included in your registration fee. Attendance at this program will make a positive difference in your daily practice and should not be missed. In addition to the education program there are many wonderful social functions planned including a welcoming reception, fishing tournament and sunset beach bash bar-b-que. Access by air is easy via the Sarasota, Tampa, or Regional Southwest Airports.
