Not everyone was born in Philadelphia, but the Birthplace of America is the hotspot right now as thousands of orthodontists and their teams enter the second day of the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session.

Taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center through Sunday, this year’s event marks 125 years of representing orthodontists.

Attendees looking for specialized approaches to orthodontics have several new and different paths to choose from. As part of this year’s event, you can build a customized experience to ensure you and your team are meeting your goals.

Hear about the latest orthodontic breakthroughs in the Scientific Advances path. Attend informative sessions on expansion, orthognathic surgery, sleep apnea and airway management to name a few.

For those looking to break into the field of orthodontics, there will be a career fair on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. It is open to doctors, residents and orthodontic staff and is complementary with registration.

The exhibit hall will be the hub of events, and it’s the place where you can see the latest tools being used by orthodontists, as well as get a chance to speak with company representatives and get all your questions answered. You can also get a first-hand look at the latest technology and even participate in hands-on demonstrations. The exhibit hall is open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For those looking to earn C.E. credit, the annual session has you covered. You can earn up to 15 credits at this year’s event. And there is a wide array of topics for you to choose from.
