ROSLYN, N.Y., USA: To better serve the North American dental market, Owandy Radiology, a manufacturer of dental radiology hardware and imaging software, has moved its U.S. headquarters to 55 Lumber Road, Roslyn, N.Y.
The company, which has maintained a presence in the United States for more than 15 years, experienced exponential growth prior to COVID-19 and expects to resume its upward trajectory in Q4 2020 and beyond, according to a press release issued by the company.
“Fortunately, Owandy was able to build a very robust sales pipeline prior to the pandemic,” said Boris Loyez, vice president of sales and marketing for North America. “We are continuing many of our sales discussions where we left off and have been able to finalize many transactions.”
Owandy’s recent sales growth has been fueled by several innovative new products launched last year, especially the I-Max 3D cone beam unit, which was well received during demonstrations during an aggressive 2019 dental meeting schedule, the company said.
The recent move enables Owandy to hire the additional employees required to respond quickly and efficiently to the demands of its North American customers, the company said. “Our new hires will not only include field sales representatives but also administrative and accounting personnel, as well as well trained technicians and engineers,” Loyez said. The custom-configured facility will also be able to host hands-on technical training for distributors and customers.
“Owandy Radiology is now one of the key players in the dental radiology market. Its innovative ‘wall-mounted’ concept makes its brand new I-Max 3D cone beam the most compact unit on the market, featuring excellent image quality and a 12x10 cm FOV,” the company press release said. “Installation is completed in record time by a single technician. In addition, Owandy Radiology has a complete range of imaging products, including intraoral X-rays, intraoral sensors, digital cameras, 2D pan-ceph and CBCTs.”
Owandy Radiology is headquartered in France, and its products are distributed through dental dealers across the U.S. and in 70 countries worldwide, on every continent. More information is available online, at www.owandy.com, or by email at sales@owandyus.com.
