CHERRY HILL, N.J., USA: In early June, more than 1,000 patients filled Saginaw Valley State University’s Ryder Center for one of the most generous events in mid-Michigan: the Michigan Mission of Mercy event. This event was free to patients who desperately needed dental work but didn’t have the means to receive it.

Keystone Industries was a sponsor, donating lab supplies to stock the lab that contributed to 3,493 procedures during the two-day event.

Keystone Industries donated pumice, acrylic powder/liquid, Kefoil, wax, ball clasps, bowls, high shine, plaster and stone remover, muslin buffs, brushes, Bard Parker handles and blades, stick wax, pliers and ultrasonic cleaner to the cause, which provided $903,000 of dental care during the whole weekend.

“The generosity was very overwhelming and our lab area was outfitted tremendously,” said the Mission of Mercy supply lead, Lori Barnhart, CDA, RDA, through a Facebook comment.
