Dental News - Lecture in Boston will explore the need for implants in today's practice

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., USA: OCO Biomedical will feature “Time to Change the Way You Provide Implant Treatment,” a special presentation, in conjunction with its annual exhibition at the Yankee Dental Congress. Presented by Charles Schlesinger, DDS, FICOI, chief operating officer and director of clinical affairs, this session will include an interactive lecture and live dentistry workshop.

This AGD-Pace accredited workshop will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, from 10 a.m. to noon in Exhibit Hall M at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

During his lecture, Schlesinger will explore the need for implants in private practice. Attendees will learn about immediate load technology and how this addresses the needs of today’s dental patients. Once immediate loading protocols are explained and sample cases shown, Schlesinger will perform a live surgical demonstration, which will build on the foundation presented in his lecture.

During the live surgery, he will incorporate OCO Biomedical’s highly acclaimed, proprietary Guided Surgery System.

According to the company, workshop learning objectives are:

Understand the need for implants and what your patients are asking for.
Learn what immediate load means and how to accomplish it.
Discuss the physics of immediate loading.
Become familiar with protocols for immediate loading.

Attendees will receive two C.E. hours by participating in this no-charge event.

During the five-day meeting, the company will be showing a range of information and products. Attendees will have an opportunity to take a first-hand look at OCO’s Guided Surgery Kit and System.
