NEW YORK, US: In line with the International College of Dentists’ (ICD) motto “Recognising Service and the Opportunity to Serve”, leading dentists from across the globe will be honoured with ICD Fellowship during an induction ceremony at the 2023 Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM), in recognition of their outstanding services and leadership to the profession. With an unwavering commitment to recognising service and advancing oral health worldwide, the ICD is set to bring its diverse international expertise to this year’s event, further solidifying its role as a driving force in shaping the global dental arena.

The dentists receiving ICD Fellowship in New York represent Antigua, Canada, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Haiti, Jamaica, Jordan, Panama and the United States. These individuals will have the opportunity to connect with ICD members and industry leaders, receive their official Key and participate in an orientation programme. They will also be provided with information about how to get more involved with ICD humanitarian, educational and leadership initiatives.

In addition to the ceremony, ICD will provide three continuing education opportunities to Fellows and GNYDM attendees. These sessions will focus on international volunteerism and dental implants. The ICD ceremony and educational sessions will all take place on Nov. 26, 2023, at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Registration for the ICD educational sessions can be completed at www.gnydm.com.

As the world dental community converges in the heart of the Big Apple in late November, the ICD stands at the forefront of humanitarianism, education and international collaboration. The ICD's mission to fostering collegiality across borders and bridging gaps in oral health care in underserved communities will be prominently showcased through a series of captivating activities during the GNYDM.
