MELVILLE, N.Y., USA: Henry Schein Inc. recently donated more than 10,000 toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss to Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds (HKC) through its global corporate social responsibility program, Henry Schein Cares. The products were used by campers to assemble personal health kits that will be provided to UJA-Federation of New York for its ‘Supplies of Success’ initiative.

More than 4,000 underserved children will receive these kits to help ensure proper oral hygiene before the start of the upcoming school year. This is the first time that the UJA-Federation Supplies for Success initiative will include products for good hygiene along with school supplies.

Health care activities supported by Henry Schein Cares focus on three main areas: advancing wellness, building capacity in the delivery of health care services, and assisting in emergency preparedness and relief.

In June, Henry Schein was selected as the recipient of the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds’ Corporate Leader Award.
