BUENA PARK, Calif., USA: Dentists across the country will once again collect excess candy from young patients on Nov. 1 as part of the 9th annual Halloween Candy Buy Back Program. Through the program, children who bring unopened candy to designated locations the day after Halloween are rewarded with prizes like the popular light-up FireFly toothbrush and in some cases $1 cash per pound.

The candy is then sent through Operation Gratitude to troops serving overseas as part of holiday care packages.

For a limited time only, Dr. Fresh LLC is offering colorful FireFly toothbrushes at a special promotional price of 81 cents per unit to participating dentists.
