The EV Implant Family

The EV Implant Family consists of three implant systems with different body shapes that share common DNA. Each design is based on clinical preference and/or patient situation, but they are unified by key features such as OsseoSpeed and EV connection. These features are supported by solid evidence of pre-clinical and clinical documentation. Each implant system is designed to stimulate the healing process and helps deliver long-term function and natural-looking esthetics.

Our commitment to innovation is built on the foundation of our Astra Tech Implant EV that incorporates core technologies that support you every day:

  • OsseoSpeed. A unique nanoscale topography designed for long-term predictability
  • Connective Contour. A three-dimensional approach to increasing soft tissue volume for natural esthetics.
  • EV connection with Conical Seal Design. A biomechanical fit that seals the implant’s interior and minimizes microleakage.

In the first meta-analysis1 looking at how three of the most popular premium implant surfaces influence the marginal bone level, there was a statistically significant difference between the surfaces.

The conclusion of the study is that the OsseoSpeed surface (Astra Tech Implant System) demonstrates superior marginal bone maintenance, which is vital to achieving the best possible functional, biologic and esthetic outcomes over the long term2.
