The Rockettes will be kicking, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree will be up, and the smiles will be shining brightly as the 101st Annual Greater New York Dental Meeting prepares to get underway as soon as the turkey and mashed potatoes are put away.

Billed as one of the largest dental meetings in the world, all dental professionals are invited to join more than 30,000 others from Nov. 28 to Dec. 3 for a wide variety of full- and half-day seminars, hands-on workshops, aisles of exhibitors and a chance to mingle with peers from around the world at various social events.

This year, the GNYDM is expanding its World Implant Expo as well as bringing back the Annual Global Orthodontic Conference, 3D Printing Conference, Oral Health Symposium, Pediatric Summit, Women's Program, Public Health Program, Special Needs Courses, and Dental Laboratory Education. With more than 1,600 technical exhibits, there will be something to fascinate and educate yourself and your whole dental staff.

This year’s event returns to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, and it will be packed with exhibitors. Attendees can get hands-on experience with the newest technology such as digital workflows, lab technologies, prosthetics, materials and services. There is also an opportunity to touch, use and compare new products.

With aisles and aisles of dental technology, products and companies, you will be able to network with vendor reps, discover emerging technologies and see live demos. This year’s exhibit floor hours will be Sunday, Nov. 30 to Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Looking for continuing education credits at this year’s event? Proof of attendance will be available for all scientific sessions using a six-digit course attendance verification number (AVN). The first three digits of the AVN number will be announced at the beginning of each session and the last three digits at the end of each session. The number of C.E. hours is equal to the number of hours per course.
