CHICAGO, Ill., USA: DentalEZ, a supplier of integrated products and services for dental health professionals worldwide, used the recent Midwinter Meeting to introduce its CORE operatory package. Comprising a dental chair, delivery system and LED operatory light, the CORE package provides complete essentials for a strong foundation in any dental operatory setting: comfort, quality and efficiency all at an affordable price.
DentalEZ product engineers Travis Albano and Clayton Dean were in the DentalEZ Integrated Solutions booth to help attendees learn how the new operatory package does more than stand on its own; it also seamlessly interfaces with the company’s backroom offerings. The package is backed by two years of research and development, involving extensive input from practitioners across all sectors of dentistry.
According the company, the CORE dental chair is designed to provide optimal patient comfort, and it is crowned with an easily adjustable, double-articulating, pinch-style headrest that fits the widest range of patients. Built with a fluid hydraulic cantilever mechanism, the CORE Chair is able to swivel 15 degrees, gliding effortlessly to either the right or left as needed.
A brake secures the chair in a stationary position, and there also is an emergency shut-down feature. All functions can be controlled by a touchpad, and an optional foot control is available with four programmable preset positions. Available in five colors, the CORE Chair is outfitted with seamed, durable NaugaSoft upholstery. The chair’s foundation is made of durable cast iron, and the back, base, armrest and headrest are outfitted with an aluminum casting.
The CORE Delivery Unit comes equipped with five integrated handpiece holders, with easy snap-on caps available to cover unused holders for a clean, streamlined look. The unit offers recessed, secure tray placement for stability. The Magellan mounted CORE Delivery Unit allows for right- or left-handed dentistry and is equipped with a side-handle break for easy maneuvering.
The rear assistant instrumentation has four different positions and can be located wherever the assistant is seated or standing. An easily accessible solids collector is located in the middle of the unit. It is available with optional integrated touchpads.
Illuminating the oral cavity is the CORE LED Light, with three long-lasting energy-efficient LED bulbs. A sensor reacts to a simple wave of the hand for touch-free control of the rectangular CORE Light. So there is no need to touch the unit to turn it on and off or change light-intensity levels to low, medium or high (10-, 20- and 30,000-lux). Dual axis movement enables unlimited positioning options. Removable handles are magnetic, and the lens can be easily removed for cleaning.
