The American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM) will welcome dentists, practice leaders and administrators and front office team members to San Antonio for three days of management-focused learning. AADOM’s 14th Annual Conference will take place July 19-21 and will feature courses in leadership, scheduling, marketing, practice metrics and dental insurance.

Kelly Swanson, AADOM’s keynote speaker, will be present her signature presentation, titled “You. Your Story. Make an Impact! The Big Picture.” Attendees will learn how to form stronger teams, enhance patient relationships, be more impactful managers, and re-engage in what they do and why they do it.

Other popular sessions will touch on highly requested topics such as management for group practices, human resources, network participation, case acceptance, leadership and dental insurance. The roster includes well-known speakers including Dr. Mark Murphy, Susan Gunn, Fred Joyal, Lois Banta, Ginny Hegarty and Teresa Duncan.

Software workshops to maximize production will be taught by highly skilled trainers for users of Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Carestream and RevenueWell software programs.

“Forum Live!” brings hundreds of dental practice administrators and business managers together to exchange ideas and share best practices for diverse topics such as team communication, attracting new patients, compliance and hiring/termination scenarios. A special “Forum Live!” will also be held for office managers of specialty practices including orthodontic, pediatric, periodontal and oral surgery practices.

AADOM will also announce the winner of the 2018 Practice Administrator of the Year, as well as induct the newest class of Fellows into the AADOM Fellowship Program. AADOM is once again hosting the Dental Spouse Business Network (DSBN), specifically tailored for dental spouses and life partners who also have a part in managing aspects of the practice.

New courses for advanced level managers will be presented this year, including courses on ethics, QuickBooks and adding new practice locations.

This high-energy conference will offer many opportunities for networking after hours as the exciting city of San Antonio is host to many fantastic networking areas and restaurants. The conference will take place in the San Antonio Marriott, located on the city’s famed River Walk.

More than 800 attendees and 100 exhibiting companies are expected to attend the meeting. Additional information can be found at www.aadomconference.com.

The event is AGD/PACE approved for up to 17 CE and is approved for up to 17 CE toward the AADOM Fellowship Program. AADOM is an AGD-approved CE provider.
