BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., USA: Celebrity personality and actor Charlie Sheen recently visited Beverly Hills cosmetic dentist Dr. Kevin Sands. Following his recent donation of $25,000 toward tornado relief in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Sheen posted an update to his Twitter account about his visit to Dr. Sands’ office.
Sheen, an active Twitter participant, said, “today spent w/ brilliant cosmetic dentist Dr Kevin Sands! the grill now perfect for Fiat, DirectTV & Anger Management! Smile world!" and attached a picture of himself alongside Sands during the visit.
Focusing on cosmetic dental procedures at his practice including porcelain veneers and teeth whitening, Sands has seen several celebrities as patients, including Taylor Swift, Minka Kelly and Britney Spears. He says social media activity through platforms such as Twitter and Facebook continues to play a significant role in dentistry as more and more patients become integrated in online networks for social connectivity as well as finding reputable dental practices.
Sands says Sheen’s tweet displays the exciting ability of social media among aesthetic practices to enhance doctor-patient communication and improve patient care.
Sands also said he hopes to continue utilizing social media as a way to provide the highest quality results to his patients. He added that through tweets like Sheen’s, social media is in the process of paving the future of patient referrals and ensuring patients receive the best care available.
