CDA Presents the Art and Science of Dentistry will be held Sept. 9 to 11 (Thursday through Saturday). The meeting, which was canceled last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held in person at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. Proof of vaccination and masks are required for those attending in person.

An interactive virtual event will be held simultaneously. The virtual platform will open the day of the convention and will stay online until Monday, Oct. 11, which is 30 days after the in-person convention.

For those who will participate, whether in person or online, there will be plenty of educational opportunities to choose from. The California Dental Association introduces new courses and programs at every event.

“CDA Presents the Art and Science of Dentistry has earned a reputation as the must-attend convention for dental professionals across the U.S. and beyond,” meeting organizers said in an online announcement. “Choose among live in-person, virtual and on-demand formats to create the experience that works with your learning style and schedule.”

“Whether together in Anaheim or San Francisco, or virtually from anywhere, CDA Presents is the place to earn C.E., learn cutting-edge skills, be inspired by leading speakers and make connections in the exhibit hall,” meeting organizers said. “Discover practice-changing courses for the entire dental team, participate in Q&A sessions and connect live with top exhibitors and dentistry experts.”

For the in-person meeting in San Francisco, CDA will follow local health orders for attendance. Upon entry into the building, attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination. At this time, all attendees will also be required to wear a mask or face covering at all times during the convention, regardless of vaccination status.

In San Francisco, attendees can meet face-to-face with exhibitors who will be showcasing their products, services and technology. Dental professionals can interact with experts from companies and participate in activities to win prizes.

The exhibit hall will be open Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30p.m., and Saturday from 9:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.

Those participating online will be able to connect in an interactive environment with exhibitors participating virtually in real time.

Full details about the meeting, including a schedule of courses, a list of speakers, registration information and much more can be found at www.cda.org/Home/News-and-Events/CDA-Presents. In addition, a free app with an interactive floor map to navigate the convention, plus course listings, speaker information and more, is also available. Search for “CDA Presents.”
