SEATTLE, Wash., USA: AAE15, the annual meeting of the American Association of Endodontists, is taking place this week at the Washington State Convention Center. The event is billed by the association as “the most comprehensive endodontic education summit, vendor exhibition and networking opportunity in the world.” Michio Kaku, PhD, offered the keynote address Wednesday morning, during the opening session.

Consistent with the meeting’s future-looking theme, Kaku, best-selling author of “The Future of the Mind,” shared his vision for the future of science and technology.

The meeting is offering more than 100 educational sessions in a variety of tracks, including “Future Directions on Nonsurgical Root Canal Treatment,” “Surgical Endodontics – What Lies Ahead” and “Where Will Biology and Technology Take Endodontics.” Attendees also take hands-on workshops featuring leading experts in microsuturing, cone beam-computed technology and resorption.

In addition, AAE15 includes the largest endodontic exhibit hall in the world, with nearly 100 vendors offering the latest in endodontic equipment, materials and supplies.

New this year is a comprehensive website — located at www.eventscribe.com/2015/AAE15/ —that is designed as the primary source of information for meeting attendees. Improved from previous years, the AAE15 itinerary planner lets you quickly find sessions and browse complete course descriptions; customize your itinerary, “favorite” sessions and schedule reminders; get on-site notifications, including changes and big announcements; and navigate the exhibit hall with an interactive floor plan.
