MDA 2012 Michigan Dental Association Annual Session

Message from the Chair:

Welcome back to Lansing! On behalf of your Annual Session Committee and the MDA staff, we hope you enjoy one of the premier annual Dental meetings.

We all know how the economy has created serious problems for many practices, so we have lined up lecturers who will provide management tips and clinical techniques to help us all survive in these difficult times. You are sure you will find a seminar that will provide new ideas and innovative ways for every member of the dental team to help expand and manage the practice.

To quote the late Bo Schembechler, “It’s THE TEAM, THE TEAM,” so bring your team and watch the team learn to adapt to this ever-changing world. Do not forget to leave some time to visit the exhibitors. They will show you the latest materials and techniques and answer those nagging questions that no one else could fully answer. In a few hours on the exhibit floor you can accomplish what would take a week’s worth of time from your office. Be sure to check out the insurance programs, practice financing, office supplies, scrap sales, and website ideas, in addition to dental supplies and equipment.

Beyond all this, we have some great ways for you to relax, let your hair down and mingle with friends old and new. From the casual “Hot Spots in a Capital City” to the formal “Simply Elegant” President’s Event, there will be something for everyone.

Again, welcome, and we hope this will be the meeting that allows everyone to grow a little.
