MI Varnish with RECALDENT (CPP-ACP) Topical fluoride varnish with Calcium and Phosphate

GC America is excited to announce the launch of MI Varnish™, a 5 percent sodium fluoride varnish with RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP). MI Varnish is unique compared to all the other fluoride varnishes; MI Varnish with RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP) brings bio-available calcium, phosphate and fluoride to the tooth surface releasing high levels of fluoride - working in concert with the sodium fluoride (NaF) in the MI Varnish is a wiser clinical choice for you and your patients.

MI Varnish is indicated for the treatment of hypersensitive teeth. It is well known that fluoride is an important tool in the fight against caries. Fluoride’s benefits are boosted by calcium and phosphate supplements helping to maintain a healthy oral environment. MI Varnish with RECALDENT™ (CPPACP), provides these essential minerals to reduce hypersensitivity.

MI Paste and MI Paste Plus (900 ppm fluoride), are one-of-a-kind products that restore minerals and enrich saliva. RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP), is a special milk-derived protein that strengthens teeth by releasing calcium, phosphate and fluoride. MI Varnish is a new addition to the RECALDENT™ (CPPACP) family.

GC America’s offering of MI Varnish and MI Paste™ or MI Paste Plus™ provides a comprehensive system for the dental professional. If a patient has a moderate to high caries risk assessment, use MI Varnish in-office. The dental professional then can instruct the patient to continue their daily care at-home with regular use of MI Paste or MI Paste Plus to boost the calcium and phosphate. MI Varnish, used in conjunction with MI Paste and MI Paste Plus with RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP), results in a well-rounded treatment plan for strong, healthy teeth.

MI Varnish is available in a 50 unit dose box. The unique unit dose containers are easy to open and contain enough material for any full mouth application. An application of MI Varnish is smooth and dries clear. Fresh Strawberry flavor is appealing to both adults and children.
