About Venus Bulk Fill

Venus Bulk Fill is an advanced posterior restorative that enables bulk filling of 4 mm increments providing dentists with a faster, easier technique than incremental layering. In a recent survey, 3 out of 4 dentists report that up to 60% of their restorations are at least 4 mm deep.* Traditional flowables have a depth-of-cure capability of only 2 mm which requires multiple application of material and repeated light-curing to complete common restorations. This increases chair time, lowers productivity and raises the risks of voids and gaps in the restoration.

“Venus Bulk Fill delivers what the dental profession has been looking for—the complete confidence to bulk fill an esthetic posterior composite restoration in half the procedure time without sacrificing quality,” says Robert Marus, DDS.

In a recent survey, 82% of surveyed dentists cite a savings up to 10 hours of chair time per month when they use a bulk fill material.*

Key advantages of Venus Bulk Fill include:

  • Greater depth of cure and low shrinkage stress
  • Improved long-term marginal integrity
  • High flowability and self-adaptive handling
  • Ideal coverage of cavity floor and walls
  • Longer working time
  • High radiopacity for more accurate diagnosis

Venus Bulk Fill Introductory Kits are available through distributors and include all the materials required for a complete esthetic restoration including a choice of iBOND® Self Etch or iBOND® Total Etch for the adhesive layer, Venus® Bulk Fill for the base layer, and Venus® Diamond for the final top layer.
