Disposable saliva ejectors offered free to dental practices handling emergency procedures

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, through June 31, DOVE Dental Products will provide 25 SE Plus Single-use Disposable Saliva Ejectors at no cost to any U.S. dental office requiring a disposable option for emergency services.

Dove Dental Products initiated the offer to support dental practices that are limiting procedures to emergency services to alleviate current and potential pressures on hospital emergency rooms.

Because associated risk to both the dental patient and practice staff are particularly high, the Centers for Disease Control recommends using single-use disposable items to improve patient safety. Patient-to-patient contamination risk is reduced with single-use items that are discarded between patients.

DOVE Dental Products is providing up to 25 of its SE Plus Single-Use Disposable Saliva Ejectors with no obligation to practices in the U.S., limited to 1–25 packages per office.

The new SE Plus fully eliminates the need for the metal saliva-ejector valve. According to the company, each device stops backflow, and each device contains a secured leading white saliva ejector to alleviate loose or falling-out saliva-ejector issues. Each device is guaranteed clean and safe, the company asserts.

In its announcement of availability of the free disposable saliva ejectors, the Dove Dental Products staff also included a thank-you message to dental professionals for their commitment, and they encouraged everyone to be safe.
