Cosmedent launches ROCK Cement

The new ROCK Cement, available from Cosmedent, is a dual-cure, self-adhesive resin cement used for the permanent cementation of ceramics, zirconia, lithium disilicate and metal-based restorations.

With its proprietary setting technology, ROCK Cement sets faster and more completely than other self-adhesive cements, according to Cosmedent. Its thin film thickness makes it easier for you to seat your restorations without the hassle of occlusal adjustments related to too thick a cement layer, the company says.

ROCK Cement is easy to use, with fast cleanup, superior marginal adhesion, virtually no post-op sensitivity, and is a real time-saver for you and your patients, the company says. ROCK should be used with a dual-cure bonding agent if extra adhesion is desired, but no primers or bonding agents are required, the company says.

Cosmedent, which has been in business for more than 40 years providing solutions to many of dentistry’s most frustrating problems, will be exhibiting the new ROCK Cement at its booth, No. 3017, at the 2019 Greater New York Dental Meeting, taking place Dec. 1-4.
