SOUTH JORDAN, UTAH: Ultradent Products was recently announced as the winner over eBay in the ‘Reach Higher’ food drive. Ultradent employees won the competition with an impressive total of 68,549 pounds of canned food — a 60,000 pound increase over Ultradent’s first food drive in 2007. Ultradent and eBay combined donated more than 100,000 pounds of canned food to the Utah Food Bank.

The “Reach Higher” weeklong competition, held in December, encouraged employees and customers to collect cash and canned goods for points toward a company total. Ultradent finished ahead with a total of $16,147 in cash and 3,867 in donated canned food, which each contributed toward a weighted total.

The food drive at Ultradent kicked off with a “Canned Food Pinewood Derby” representing all of Ultradent’s vice presidents and President Dr. Dan Fischer.

In its continued mission to service the community, Ultradent has participated in a food drive for the Utah Food Bank for the last four years.
