Henry Schein Special Markets business celebrates 20th anniversary

MELVILLE, N.Y., USA: Henry Schein Inc. recently hosted its ninth annual Special Markets National Sales Meeting at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The meeting brought together 125 Team Schein Members and 100 representatives from 60 Henry Schein Special Markets’ supplier partners, who celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Henry Schein Special Markets team.

The theme of this year’s meeting was “Looking Back to the Future.”

“This year’s National Sales Meeting was a perfect opportunity to look back and celebrate the teams’ achievements since we created our Special Markets business 20 years ago — and look ahead at the opportunities before us,” said Hal Muller, president of the Special Markets Division of Henry Schein Inc. “We remain committed more than ever to delivering solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.”

The National Sales Meeting featured dozens of breakout sessions, facilitating discussions about best practices and providing opportunities to meet with supplier partner representatives. The meeting also helped raise funds for Henry Schein’s global corporate social responsibility program, Henry Schein Cares. In addition to cash donations, products from supplier partner’s exhibits were donated.

Since 1995, Henry Schein Special Markets has been serving dental service organizations (DSOs), dental schools, federal government agencies, institutional organizations and community health centers.
